About Jill Tydeman
Jill Tydeman is a speed reader, fast eater, and, sometimes, impatient writer. She is the author of many non-fiction stories, ranging from informational pieces about doughnuts to industry interviews with real estate developers. She has also written tons of short stories - some with little purpose beyond practice. During the day, she is a former newspaper editor/reporter who now gets paid to assume the role of inspirational coach/mentor for small business owners. During the night, she prowls the writers markets, searching for a break. Recently, she received a writing scholarship from the local Junior College for one of her short stories (the first time she has received money for her FICTION), and has now tasted what it feels like to be recognized for fiction and she wants more.
